The dates at the top of the dashboard set the days that every figure, the chart and every pane count.

Beyond the list of common ranges, you can pick any dates, step to the period before or after, and put a range in an address to bookmark or share. The range holds as you filter and move between views.

Choosing a range

Click the dates at the top of the dashboard, or of a pane’s full view, and choose a range. The page updates at once and keeps your filters. A dashboard opens on the last 7 days.

Days are the site’s own, starting at midnight in its time zone wherever you are: see Time zone. The range also decides what every figure is compared with: see The change from the period before. Clicking a day, week or month on the chart opens the dashboard over its dates too.

This week and Last week come from the day your weeks start on, Monday unless you choose Sunday in your account’s settings. The weeks from the other day are behind the small triangle beside them.

Every range but Yesterday, Last week and Last month runs to today, which is still being counted. For whole days only, use a number of days up to yesterday.

A number of days

Under the list, type a number from 1 to 3660 into days up to today or days up to yesterday, and press Enter. Up to today includes today, and up to yesterday stops at the last whole day.

Custom dates

Click the first day in the calendar and then the last, in either order, or one day on its own, and press Apply. Or type the dates into Start date and End date, day before month, such as 13 Sept 2026, 13/09/2026 or 2026-09-13. Nothing changes until you press Apply: Cancel, Escape or a click elsewhere leaves the range as it was.

The calendar goes back a year, or to the site’s first month if it has been counted for longer, and the menu above it jumps to a month. From the keyboard, the arrow keys move a day or a week, Page Up and Page Down a month, or a year with Shift, Home and End the first and last day of the week, and Enter picks the day. Its weeks start on the day yours do. Without JavaScript, the dates are two date fields.

The period before and after

The arrows either side of the dates step to the period before and after, keeping your filters. Hover over one to see where it goes.

An arrow is greyed out where there’s nowhere to go: forward from a range that ends today, back from one that reaches the day you added the site, and either way from All time. Custom dates from before that day start on it instead.

Linking to a range

The range is in the dashboard’s address, such as https://fiveb.ar/example.com?range=last-month, so you can bookmark a period, or share it with anyone who can see the site. The ranges in the list go by their names in the table above, and any other period one of these ways:

AddressShows
range=2026-09-21One day
range=2026-08One calendar month, or this month up to today
from=2026-09-01&to=2026-09-14Any dates, the first to the last
range=30-days30 days up to today
range=30-days-to-yesterday30 days up to yesterday

Where an address has both, from and to win over range. days=30, with upto=yesterday for days up to yesterday, works too. Filters go in the same address: see Filters. A range the dashboard can’t read is taken as the last 7 days. The stats API reads ranges the same way.
