Terms

fiveb.ar is run by Jason Cartwright, a sole trader, and its plans are sold by Paddle, our reseller. These are the terms you use fivebar and buy a plan on.

Signing up agrees to them, and to Privacy, which says what fivebar keeps and for how long. “We” and “us” here are Jason Cartwright, in the UK.

Buying a plan

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle takes your payment, adds any VAT or sales tax, and sends your receipts and invoices, and its buyer terms apply to the sale beside these. Paddle answers questions about a payment at paddle.net.

Plans and prices

A plan is priced by the billable pageviews your sites count in a month, all your sites together: the pageviews and events your dashboard counts, never bots, error pages or traffic you’ve excluded. Every plan has every feature. Pricing lists the plans and what each costs, a month, or a year for the price of ten months. Prices are plus VAT or sales tax where it applies.

You pay in euros in the euro’s countries, in pounds in the UK and the Crown Dependencies, and in US dollars everywhere else, as the country of your billing address decides. A plan renews at the end of each month or year, when Paddle charges your card, until it’s cancelled. Going over your plan’s pageviews for a month costs nothing more, and you’re never charged for a dearer plan unless you choose one.

The trial

Your first plan starts with a free trial. Paddle takes your card at the start and charges nothing until the trial ends: after 30 days, or once your sites have counted 1M billable pageviews since it began, whichever comes first. At 1M we move the first charge to an hour later, and email you to say so. Until the trial ends you can change plan, and the trial keeps its end, or cancel, and nothing is charged.

There’s one trial an account, and one an inbox: a second account at the same address, or at a +tag of it, pays from the start.

Changing plan and cancelling

Change plan under Billing. A dearer plan, or a change between monthly and yearly, starts at once, and Paddle charges or credits the difference for what’s left of the period; a cheaper one starts when your plan next renews.

Cancel at any time in Paddle’s portal, which Manage billing opens, under Billing. Your plan runs to the end of the period you’ve paid for, then ends, and isn’t charged again. A trial you cancel runs to its end, and nothing is charged.

If a plan ends unpaid

A plan ends unpaid when a trial or a plan is cancelled, or when a payment still fails after Paddle has tried it again for up to 30 days. Your sites’ stats are then paused: their dashboards ask for a plan, the API, apps and email reports stop, and public stats close. Your sites are still counted for 30 days, and we email you at least seven days before they stop. After that they aren’t counted until you choose a plan again. What was counted is kept, but days that weren’t counted can’t be counted later.

Refunds

Ask for a refund within 14 days of a payment and it’s refunded in full: ask Paddle at paddle.net, where you can find your order, or email mail@fiveb.ar. Paddle pays it back the way you paid, and a plan whose payment is refunded is cancelled. Past 14 days a payment isn’t refunded, but you can still cancel, as above. None of this takes away a right the law where you live gives you.

Complimentary accounts

Some accounts are complimentary: every feature, on up to 1,024 sites, more if you ask, however many pageviews they count, and never billed. We give them to people we’ve asked to test fivebar, and to charities, once we’ve checked their status: Charities lists the countries, the status we accept in each and how to apply. A plan you pay for is cancelled once your account is complimentary. It stays complimentary until we end it, which we tell you about by email first, and then it needs a plan, with a fresh trial.

Using fivebar

Count your own sites, or those whose owners have asked you to: a site’s owner chooses to count its visitors, and is responsible for that choice, as Privacy says. Send nothing about a person in an event or a property, such as a name or an email address.

Changes

When these terms change, this page changes with them, and a change to what a plan you pay for costs is emailed to you before it applies. They last changed on 14 October 2026.
